Today was my second visit to rhs Harlow Carr Gardens and an opportunity to try out the Harrogate Arms cafe, which I’m pretty sure was not open when I visited a few months ago. It really is a lovely building! It’s light and bright with lovely decor featuring many plants. Good menu choices featuring some of the produce grown in their own grounds. There are 2 indoor seating areas together with a third, outdoor area, just right for today’s heat. Toilet facilities are fantastic (more plants) and on the ground floor.

Fantastic cafe with great food at Harlow Carr gardens. So glad it was open as the only alternative was a place by the car park where you had to queue out in the rain until you were escorted to a seat and allowed to pay OVER a £5 for a cup of coffee!! No thank you!! The Harrogate Arms had organic coffee - excellent flavour - without ripping you off!! The soup was delicious as was the baked potatoes!

A nice newly opened cafe towards the bottom of RHS Harlow Carr. The place has been thoughtfully refurbished and has a lovely light airy feel to it as well as a generous outdoor terrace to the side. We had their sausage roll and coffee deal which was great value for £5, and the coffee was pleasant and the roll tasty. A worthwhile place to stop and take in the views with a bite to eat when in the garden.

New, modern inside with lots of plants. Very clean, as are the loos. Polite, pleasant service. Drinks were usual normal prices, but I thought some of the food items were a bit pricey for what they were. Quite a queue formed for drinks with two staff doing drinks, but having paid, staff proffered to bring drinks to you at your table, cutting the queue down. Card payments only. Has outdoor seating area with plenty of tables.
